Security and Data Protection

Soothsayer is designed with security and privacy at its core.

All data is stored securely within AWS infrastructure in Dublin (eu-west-1). Each Soothsayer deployment runs on a dedicated virtual machine, providing strong isolation between client environments.

Access to Soothsayer systems is tightly controlled. No inbound network connections are permitted to production environments. Administrative access to instances is managed securely through AWS Systems Manager, and connections to supporting infrastructure such as the SIEM are protected via Cloudflare Access.

Data retention within Soothsayer is typically limited to seven days for authentication and access logs. Where clients require additional investigative or monitoring support data may be ingested into our SIEM environment, and retained for longer periods as necessary to provide the supporting services.

Soothsayer is operated by The Cyber Security Expert Ltd (www.thecybersecurityexpert.com), a UK-based cybersecurity consultancy that holds Cyber Essentials certification, ensuring adherence to recognised security standards in system management and data handling.
